"off the self" approch where your needs are constrained by what the software can accomplish.
Some would argue that this approach is not feasible. That it substantially adds cost and risk
to the customers application. At Xcite, we have found this to rarely be the case. We build our custom
applications on the Xcite Foundation, a group of in-house designed and tested tools. This approach
greatly reduces the amount of time building an applications framework and allows us to focus on
our customer's specific needs.
